These beautiful little art glass snails are hand made by a master glass artisan and are Lamp worked glass. The artist manipulates various rods or canes of glass by starting with one colour for the body of the Snail then adding different colours for the tail eyes head and beak. In addition, the artist heats the glass to the melting point then winds and twists the molten droplets into the desired shape. Next it is baked in an oven to solidify and fuse the various pieces together. Makes a lovely decoration for any room in the house and sure to be enjoyed all year round.
